History

Since it’s opening in 1949, Ardovino’s Desert Crossing has been consistently offering El Paso great service, unique cuisine, and the highest quality ingredients in the area. The Ardovino family restored the old Ardovino Roadside Inn, to create the now well known and delicious restaurant, banquet facility and lounge. The menu is contemporary and possesses unique flavor combinations. The Australian Barramundi entrée is delicious fresh water fish, pan-seared, with julienned leeks, carrots, & fresh tomatoes in a white wine sauce and served with saffron risotto & a selection of fresh vegetables. The Pastel de Tres Leches is a wonderful dessert that can be paired nicely with a cup of coffee and a flavored liqueur. Ardovino’s has an extensive wine and spirit selection that is sure to have the perfect match for the perfect meal.

One can also enjoy a nice relaxing meal or drink and a view of Mount Cristo Rey from Ardovino’s beautiful patio. The smell of the wonderful aroma from the outdoor wood fired pizza oven decorated in colorful mosaic tiles is another benefit to relaxing in the hidden oasis. Ardovino’s also offers a great atmosphere in their Mecca Lounge. The live music and casual style is sure to take you back to 1950’s with a display of local artwork and retro gambling memorabilia.

In 1997, Ardovino’s opened its banquet facility. It is the perfect location for any party, wedding, banquet, or family get together. The Sunset Hall overlooks the valley and has views of the western mesas. Ardovino’s has designed a variety of menu selections for your consideration, however your ideas and desires are important to them and they will work with you to develop the perfect menu for your special event.
